PAST HISTORY & SOME VALUABLE PIECES
OF INFORMATION ABOUT WEST BENGAL-
West Bengal is the gateway to north-eastern India and the Bengali-inhabited state. Although most of the inhabitants are Bengalis, many call this province the meeting place of all India. Here people of different castes, religions, languages and cultures live together in peace. This present beautiful province is a part of Bengal mentioned in historical texts like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Parana, Bhagavata etc. Bengal was once a Province with a vast territory up to Assam, Bangladesh, Orissa and Agra in the west. Intelligence, bravery, semen, education, culture, revolution, art, politics, etc., were everywhere in the fish-rice triumph of the Bengalis. Even the victorious Greek hero Alexander had to give up his dream of conquering India after being well resisted by the Bengali king Gangaridi. That is why the best Bengalis and Bengalis have been repeatedly hit. The latest and most severe blow so far has been the partition of Bengal by the British. All Bengali scholars, including the world poet Rabindranath Tagore, were forced to take to the streets to protest against this harmful law. Under the influence of these popular great men, the whole of India roared against the oppressive English. Eventually, fearing the Bengali revolutionaries and political consciousness, the Sahibs shifted the capital from Calcutta to Delhi. But, the last defense could not be made. The two states of Bengal and Punjab were torn to pieces. The backbone of the two nations, the Bengalis and the Punjabis, was broken forever. Every Bengali has been suffering from the harmful effects of that very cruel political move ever since. Maybe this bad effect will continue in the future. The ill effects of the partition of Bengal on the house, property, society, civilization, economy of the Bengalis were, are being and will be in the future.
Muslin,

Although it is mainly an agricultural state, it has a lot of known and unknown beautiful tourist destinations. So there is a lot of potential in the tourism industry. It is the only province in India where mountains, forests and seas coexist. At the very bottom of it is the Bay of Bengal. The Sundarbans is home to many beautiful beaches, historical sites and one of the most mysterious mangrove forests in the world. There is a man-eating Royal Bengal Tiger in this Sundarbans. Rajmahal hills formed by volcanoes in the middle and Jungle Mahal in the west. To the north are the majestic Darjeeling and the white high Himalayan mountain range. And just below it are the Dwars, rich in forest and fauna, rich in beautiful tourist attractions. Besides, there are innumerable old lakes, palaces, temples, mosques, churches, archeological monuments, rivers, canals, gardens etc. scattered all over the state.
