The people of Bengal do not need an excuse to go to Digha. It only takes two days to get there. Somehow managing two consecutive days off from the office, or refreshing the mind on weekends Saturday-Sunday - Digha is still the first choice of Bengalis. Today I will discuss some of the most basic but necessary aspects of that Digha trip

If you want to go to Digha from Kolkata or the adjoining area, it is best to leave at night. Apart from Dharmatala, night buses are available from almost all parts of the city. Besides, you can also go by train from Howrah. You can get in the car at night, sleep for four-five hours, and reach Digha in the morning.

In my opinion, it is wise to book a hotel here. Then you don't have to work hard to find a place to stay. However, if you want, you can go to Digha and find the hotel of your choice. One more thing to say here, you can cook and eat at the hotel yourself if you want. However, I am not in favor of cooking and eating on the go.

With a hotel room first, eat something light and take a little rest. Then you can go to the beach. But if you want to get into the water, you have to go to Old Digha. After bathing in the sea, you can return to the hotel, have lunch and take a nap. You can go to Amravati Park in the afternoon. In the evening come to New Digha beach. Very nice beautiful shop sitting. Great place to buy gifts for yourself or your relatives. However, you must bargain and check the quality. Moreover, do not forget to eat fried fish.

You can go to Mohana and Shankarpur the next morning. Eat a little early in the morning and head out to Bichitrapur in Orissa. I will not say what is there. But I promise, your mind will be filled when you come back. Talsari can come back on the way back. There you will see a swarm of red crabs. Chandaneshwari temple will be on the way. If you want, you can worship there. From there, return to the hotel, have dinner and leave for home.
